- Christian Buchet, a member of the French Naval Academy and former secretary general of the Grenelle de la Mer (Grenelle of the Sea), directs the Center for Studies and Research on the Sea at the Catholic Institute of Paris. The first columnist to address sustainable development on Europe 1, he was scientific director of the Océanides program, the largest global historical study ever conducted on the sea.
