General conditions of sale and participation
The purpose of these general terms and conditions of sale and participation (hereinafter the “GTC”) is to define the terms and conditions of registration for the Sustainable Leather Forum “SLF” (hereinafter the “Event”) organized by Alliance France Cuir, an interprofessional organization (SIRET number 784 410 714 00025) whose head office is located at 105 Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré 75008 PARIS, and represented by Mr. Marc Brunel.
Any registration for the Event by a Participant implies full and complete acceptance by the Participant of the version of these General Terms and Conditions in force on the day the Participant accesses the Event and obliges the Participant to comply strictly with them.
Alliance France Cuir reserves the right to make any changes to these General Terms and Conditions at any time and without any recourse on the part of the Participant. These changes are binding on the Participant as soon as they are posted online. It is therefore the Participant's responsibility to regularly consult the General Terms and Conditions, which are permanently available on the website. Any use of the services after the General Terms and Conditions have been modified constitutes tacit acceptance by the Participant of the new General Terms and Conditions.
Registration procedures
You are using the registration service of our service provider, Eventmaker.
Prior to any registration, the Participant expressly acknowledges having read these general conditions, and accepts them without reservation, by checking the box "I have read and accept the general conditions of sale and participation" before clicking on "Validate".
Registration for the Event is open online on the Event website. Registration will be processed once payment has been received and cleared. Participants will automatically and immediately receive a registration confirmation. The payment method is a secure credit card payment.
The details of the rights granted by registration (access to the Event/catering/events, etc.) are specified on a case-by-case basis on the Site before the registration request and are confirmed once registration has been completed.
To protect this account, the Participant must keep it confidential using a personal password. He or she remains responsible for the activity carried out in or through his or her account and must ensure that he or she does not reuse the same password as the one associated with his or her account in third-party applications.
Access title
The prices of the Access Tickets are expressed in euros excluding taxes and will, in accordance with the applicable legal and regulatory provisions, be increased by value added tax at the current rate.
At the end of the order placed and paid for online, Alliance France Cuir will send the Participant an email inviting them to print their attached Access Title(s) in PDF format.
Each Access Ticket is STRICTLY personal (an identity check of the bearer may be carried out at the entrance to the Event) and non-transferable. It is specified that the Access Tickets are also available on the Site in the Client's personal space.
Access Tickets are provided with a unique barcode allowing access to the Event by a single person for the duration of the validity of the Access Ticket. The validity of the Access Tickets is checked at the entrance to the Event using barcode readers.
It is prohibited to reproduce, duplicate or counterfeit the Access Ticket in any way. Consequently, Alliance France Cuir may refuse entry when several printouts, reproductions, copies or imitations of the same printable at-home Access Ticket are in circulation and access to the Event has already been previously granted to the holder of a printout, reproduction, copy or imitation of the corresponding Access Ticket.
Alliance France Cuir declines all responsibility for anomalies that may occur during the ordering, processing or printing of the Access Title.
Cancellation, modification of order, refund
Any order placed online is firm and final and irrevocably commits the Participant to the full payment of the price. Consequently, no refund will be made for any reason whatsoever, and in particular in the event of partial or total cancellation of the order.
Likewise, no changes will be made to the Access Titles ordered (name of the bearer, position, company, etc.).
In this regard, the Participant is invited to carefully check the data provided before confirming their order.
No right of withdrawal
In accordance with article L 221-28 of the Consumer Code, access tickets to fairs and exhibitions are not subject to a right of withdrawal.
Please note that Access Tickets are non-transferable.
Upon notification of the cancellation or change of date or time of the Event for which the Participant has ordered one or more Access Tickets, the Participant accepts that Alliance France Cuir may use the contact details entered by the latter when ordering online to inform them of the procedure to follow.
In the event of cancellation of the Event due to force majeure, as defined by French case law, Alliance France Cuir will notify the Participants without delay. In such a case, there will be no claim for damages and the sums received by Alliance France Cuir will be returned to the Participant.
Readers present at the exhibitor stands
Badge readers will be present at some exhibitors' stands. By presenting their badge to a reader, the Participant agrees that their personal data (last name, first name, company name, email address, telephone number) will be transmitted directly to the exhibitor so that the latter can send them commercial offers.
If the Participant does not wish to transmit their data at a stand, it is their responsibility not to present their badge in front of the reader of the exhibitor concerned. Data from badge readers will also be processed by Alliance France Cuir for statistical purposes and to analyze stand attendance and interaction with visitors.
Right to image
The interventions of the speakers, the documents broadcast or given during the event are protected by copyright in application of articles L 111-1 and following of the Intellectual Property Code. Under the terms of article L 122-4 of the Intellectual Property Code "any representation or reproduction in whole or in part made without the consent of the author or his successors in title or assigns is unlawful". Article L122-5 of this code only authorizes "copies or reproductions strictly reserved for the private use of the copier and not intended for collective use" and "analyses and short quotations", "provided that the name of the author and the source are clearly indicated". Any unauthorized representation or reproduction, by any means whatsoever, not complying with the legislation in force would constitute an infringement punishable by articles L 335-2 and L 335-3 of the Intellectual Property Code. The Participant would be liable if unauthorized use were made of the interventions, documents broadcast or given during the Event.
The Participant is informed that Alliance France Cuir may be required to take photographs and/or make films as part of the Event. Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by the Participant to Alliance France Cuir no later than 7 days before the start of the Event, the Participant authorizes Alliance France Cuir to photograph or film them as part of the Event and to distribute and reproduce these images on all media, as part of communication about the Event or video products.
The statements made by speakers during the Event are their sole responsibility. It is the Participants' responsibility to verify the relevance of the opinions/recommendations expressed by the speakers. Alliance France Cuir will not be liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused by, or in connection with, the information disseminated or presentations made during the Event.
During the event, a photo and video device will cover the event to produce a film and a photo album that may be used for promotional purposes (production of a film, use of photos in the creation of communication documents, website animation, etc.) on the national territory for a period of 3 years after the event. Consequently, by registering for the event, the Participants of the Show authorize the Service Provider and its Client to use their image, if necessary, within the strict framework of promoting Alliance France Cuir events.
Applicable law, disputes
The registration offered by Alliance France Cuir on the Site is subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, the courts of the registered office of Alliance France Cuir shall have sole jurisdiction.
