- Didier BASTIEN graduated as an agricultural engineer from ENSA Rennes in 1992. Hired at the Institut de l'Elevage in 1994 as a project manager, he worked for the first few years on the subject of beef production and quality. In this capacity, he supervised studies and trials on red meat production: young cattle, steers, heifers, and cows. Since 2017, he has been responsible for projects in veal calf production, supervising trials conducted first at the former AGESEM experimental station and since 2023 at the new Innovation and Research Center: CIRVEAU. Since January 2024, he has been director of this new facility.
