Created in 2019 by Alliance France Cuir, the Sustainable Leather Forum was born from the desire of the French leather industry to create a structured space dedicated to the challenges of Corporate social and environmental responsibility (CSR).
Faced with evolving regulatory, economic, and societal expectations, this professional meeting was designed as a platform for exchange, reflection and foresight for the sustainable transition of the leather industry.
CENTRE TECHNIQUE DU CUIR
THE Leather Technical Center (CTC) is a leading organization serving companies in the leather industry, from tanneries to finished products.
It supports professionals through applied research, technical expertise, testing and standardization activities.
The CTC also addresses issues of quality, innovation, industrial performance and sustainability.
Finally, it plays a role in disseminating knowledge and developing skills within the sector.
Funding partner of the Sustainable Leather Forum since the 2025 edition, the CTC is today member of the expert committee from the forum.
